Rob Ferrel, better known as Rob The Original, is a famous barber and a popular social media personality. The San Antonian is best known for his hyperrealistic and elaborate scalp designs. Some of his most prominent work includes photo-realistic portraits of Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Drake, Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker, and Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. He won a sponsorship with Babyliss Pro barber tools and has his own line of barber tools within the company.
Originally from Los Angelos, Rob moved to San Antonio to pursue a career as an accomplished artist. But as fate would have it, he ended up working at a barbershop and became a part of the hairstyling business. While working at the shop, Ferrel pioneered hair art which included complex designs, celebrity portraits, geometric shapes, and logos. After that, it was only a matter of time before he inaugurated his very own shop, “Rob The Original Barbershop”. The famous barber is not one to limit himself and is also known for creating masterpieces out of hair, salt, ketchup, laundry, and other fleeting materials.
