How does TrimCheck work?
There’s 2 ways to use TrimCheck. Barbers can use TrimCheck as an easy-to-use standalone booking app OR they can use our channel manager if they would like to get listed on multiple booking apps at once.
The channel manager is not required to get started, it is an optional add-on.
If your objective is just to manage existing clients, then the standalone booking app should do! If however, your looking to maximise exposure and get new clients, then your best bet is to use the channel manager so you can get listed on all booking apps.

What app do barbers use for appointments?
There’s a few booking apps used by barbers: Booksy, Vagaro, Mindbody, Fresha and Styleseat. TrimCheck allows you to get listed on all these booking apps and more.

How will my clients book me?
You will get your own booking website page and an app page once you complete your profile onboarding.

Which payment methods can I accept?
Cash, Mobile pay, or Both. If you choose both then your customers will have the option. Mobile pay allows your customers to pay via Apple Pay, google pay, or card.

Is there a commission fee for bookings?
Nope, none. We don’t believe in taxing you for your own success. Our pricing is simple and fair, one monthly subscription regardless of how many bookings you do.

Does TrimCheck handle my taxes?
All your data is owned exclusively by you and as independent contractors making use of the software, it is your own responsibility to file for your own taxes.

How are payments processed?
Via stripe. The leading payments processor globally.

How long does it take to receive payouts?
We payout instantly on our side, but depending on your region it may take upto 1 week to receive payments from stripe.

Can I set my own cancellation or no-show policy?
Of course. Your cancellation policy is 100% configurable by you. You can also add repeat no-shows to your blacklist to avoid future bookings with bad clients.

Which countries does TrimCheck work in?
TrimCheck works worldwide in over 185 countries and is compatible with 180 different currencies. However, some countries do have some minor restrictions. Countries with full access to all functionalities, such as mobile pay include the following: United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Isle of Man, Hong Kong, China, United Arab Emirates, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Malaysia, Jamaica, Barbados, The Bahamas, Bermuda, Dominca, Belize, Malta, St Lucia, St vincent, St kitts, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Libya.
